Somewhere after 'input_file.mp4' and before 'output_file.mp4', add something like '-crf 20'. The lower the crf, the higher the quality. At a crf of 0, it's technically supposed to be lossless (but there is some loss in color information due to YUV↔RGB conversion not being perfect, and because of chroma subsampling). Do note that the file size will be HUGE if you do '-crf 0'. Default is I think 23.
