I've been using fountain pens on and off since I was a 15 yo studying in French school. I don't have a big collection because I tend to lose things and I've moved a lot in my life, but I really like the ones I still have with me. They're not so common in Mexico.
Yesterday I wanted to use my fountain pens but they were all completely dry 🫣
As usual, I cleaned them with ink dripping and soaked them in hot water for a while, and I got most of them back to life. My favorite one (a Waterman), however, has another issue: the ink cartridge don't stand in place and the tip seems unstable. Do someone here know how to fix it or should I wait for an upcoming trip to France, to have someone to look at it?
