#WordWeavers 1/27 Is it difficult for you if your partner or closest friends don't enjoy books?
I've touched on this before, but I do find it difficult that my spouse can't seem to struggle through any of my writing. She's not really into books at all it seems, opting instead for her phone.
I shouldn't judge. I don't read nearly as much as I want due to screen distractions (a lot of that is me writing) and she has a language barrier as well, so I get it.
Part of marriage is accepting each other's differences and finding common interests together, but I do pine for when I was with partners that got excited about literature.
