In the basement tonight recording a few test vocal tracks on my new synth song. Pulled out the old ART tube mic preamp. Single Groove Tubes 12AX7 in it. Takes a while to warm up. Using it with an SM58. Great warm tone, but having issues with a few plosives. Really don’t want to use the pop screen. Trying to find a workaround. Playing with proximity and positioning. #music #gearsquad #recording
