I occasionally use it when traveling in a group. I helped my brother move a while back and he was in a UHaul while I was in a sports car. Made it really easy to get separated. So we kept shared location services active so we could find each other easily.

I also ran over a chunk of metal in my very low car and punched a hole in the transmission pan, and used it so that a friend could find me on the side of the freeway and help me tow the car home.
