...As for what I find most fulfilling about writing and publishing, I'll be honest at the cost of embarrassing myself. I've always craved validation, and always feared that after I'm gone I shall be forgotten as though I'd never lived.

That may still be the case, but at least, now, I have left some music and several books behind, and it's not impossible that in a hundred years or more someone may chance across one of my novels and read it. If humanity still exists a century hence.
