Joseph on Nostr: Something I've noticed about the Spanish floods is how people move though the space ...
Something I've noticed about the Spanish floods is how people move though the space in a completely different way to what I'd expect. To my Australian senses it was clear that people didn't know how to respond; seeing things like people getting into the water to get to vehicles filled me with visceral alarm. I think it will be a huge challenge for Europe to develop an institutional and cultural understanding of how to respond to large scale environmental disasters. The delay in developing that understanding will cost lives.
