Is anyone in Catalonia allowed to speak Catalan? Is any catalan discriminated against in Catalonia? What are you talking about?
If you want to make your language survive perhaps one good approach is to not marginalize those who do not speak it. Make people love your language, not hate it. I am telling you from my own experience that everyone I met coming to Catalonia from outside hates the Catalans and think the Catalans are total jerks. This is not good for anyone, no?
So you have to change your attitude. Even the fact that you write in Catalan on an English post showcases so well that you have an aggressive and unfriendly way of dealing with this subject and with people in general. If you fail to see how much of a discomfort you create by writing in Catalan on an English post, then you are of course oblivious at what is happening in Catalonia with this terrible attitude that many others also have.
