The textbook for my "abnormal psychology" course still talks about "autogynphilia" and "transvestic disorder." Technically, they may need to cover "transvestic disorder" because they cover most of the diagnoses in the DSM as a psychopathology course. But this textbook was published in 2020 and still talks about autogynephilia as a paraphilic disorder....fucking Blanchard's bullshit is insidious and it hurts that cis fuckwads' nonsense gaze is still shaping the perspective of academic, clinical, and medical providers no matter what we do.
