I adore that. It suddenly makes self-care rebellious. I think I'm going to write it on my walls somewhere. On some level, in the back of my mind, self-care can still seem like necessary maintenance to be a good little functioning working drone for everything except myself. I'm trying to see it as something to do as a fight for myself, and to remain in fighting condition to fight corporate greed and defend nature and kindness. Trying my best to shake the idea that self-care beyond crucial maintenance is selfish.
