I'm actually taking a class on September 14th covering over winter procedure. It's all zone specific. Here we have to ensure the bees have enough food stored to survive winter and low varroa mite counts. Each 8 frame deep needs to weigh 40-50lbs with honey & bees. I'm going to do supplemental feeding with an insulated candy board and Hive Alive fondant. Also a mouse guard but that's all I can think of now.
