Anyone with personal experience making noodle kugel know if a recipe calls for mixing the noodles with the filling and then baking do they mean the noodles will magically bake in the pan or do you cook them first?
(filling is cottage cheese, sour cream, milk, and a bunch of eggs in this recipe)
(also if anyone has a family recipe for noodle kugel that involves a ton of cream cheese would you be willing to share? at some point someone said my grandmother's recipe used that, but no one ever got a real version from her and nor has anyone managed to duplicate it)
