I remember when cartoons/animations started trying to make things more realistic around 2000 or so and I was like "Oh no. Stop this. I don’t want to see anything trying to look realistic unless it looks truly realistic" and now we have AI and deep fakes and I’m like "Oh no. Stop this. Can't we just go back to when everything looked like a character on Beavis and Butthead?"
