the reason the Discourse™ is so oppressively monotonous on here - apart from sheer volume - is that 95% of it is zero-nuance in-group signalling. I don't give a fuck about such bilge regardless of topic and it gets really REALLY fucking old.
that's not what you're doing, so I click past the filter-imposed CW on your posts on it quite often. the reality is that it's not going away and we need to chart a course that doesn't just consist of plugging our ears and yelling "LALALALALA."
