Hey, fellow #authors!
I have been contacted by a legal firm called Claims Hero which is trying to mount #copyright infringement cases against AI companies that have fed pirated copies of our work into their systems. It’s like Anthropic, but they’re going after others. They are very interested in having me confirm that the 89 works on their list of my books were really mine in preparation for possible legal action on my behalf. I hesitated, smelling scam (as one does these days). (1/2)
