Hey folks, over the weekend I got an alert: we're now over our storage limit again. We've already got fewer donations coming in each month than the hosting cost, and bumping up our database space will add another $50/month.

I think that at this point our only realistic option is to enable automatic deletion of remote content: https://masto.host/mastodon-content-retention-settings/

Adding this would mean that posts from other servers would be removed from our local storage, even if a user interacted with them.
