I want fedi to grow because I see algo media replacing mass media and I think that's bad for society. It's making us worse people because acting like a jerk is rewarded. I think everybody being here would fix the problem we have with wealth largely dictating what info, ideas and art gets attention.
I don't need/want social media as a refuge from the rest of my life and I understand that big fedi threatens the space that the people who are here for that established. I'm sorry.
