good article. But I think one of the biggest issues is the barrier to entry. On AWS, you can get *everything.* And there’s almost no European provider that’s large enough to offer everything. And having to get one smart cloud service from one provider and another one from another removes a lot of the smartness that AWS is able to offer. I don’t see how anyone other than Hetzner or OVH can realistically catch up to AWS because of this. It’s just too expensive to build.
