I think Amadeus knows this better than me, but is there something to be aware of when installing Audio apps as Flatpak? I believe native plugins are fine, but if you ever want to experiment with Windows plugins through Wine there is something to be aware of.
I know several people are really happy with Mint and you can install a lot of what you need from the build in App Store, so +1!
