Shake // Open pour // Garnish: spent lime shell, mint sprig

Another one that spent too much time on my re-shake list! But again Das (npub1kyd…jltj) prompted me to finally make it, and ooh boy it was good! Originally by Daniel Zajic, I modified the base spirits since I didn't have access to his choice: Oaxacan rum. I picked something grassy and split with tequila to compliment the Nixta Licor de Elote.

Notes of grass, black pepper, cooked agave, roasted corn, caramel, and nuttiness against a classic tiki base with the rum/lime/orgeat.
