I have NO ONE to tell this but the inventor of table-football (or Foosball in the US) Alejandro Finisterre was an antifascist and anarchist fighter in the Spanish civil war who escaped to South America to avoid the Francoist forces.
Once Francoist agents apprehended him with the intention of taking him back to Spain to face trial (and possible execution) but he faked that a soap he got a hold of was a bomb and the plane landed in Panama and he could escape.
