I'm putting the computer in the freezer for about ten minutes to cool it down, so the fan won't run. Then I get a few minutes enjoyment until it warms up again.
252℃ is an overflow condition. I don't know if it was in the sensors or in 'hardinfo2'. After running for a minute or so, it came up from 255 to 0.
