and yes, I get that each USB device and NVMe stick would still have tons of nested complexity. if this ever happened (which it wouldn't) maybe the group of humans that built it would draw the line further out into peripheral-land and invent non-abstracted NVMe sticks while accepting USB devices, I don't know.
but it'd be interesting. as close to a total reset in abstracted coMplexity as possible, and then start building anew on top of that. what Might that enable? what would coMe of it?
