Giuliana Furci
De-Paralysing Knowledge of Fungal Relationships with People, in Place.
Added to the scarce documentation of how fungi live with people in place - sometimes even enabling people to live in a place - is the dark shadow cast by the colonial capitalisation of relationships forged between people and other species. There can seem to be no way around the difficulties when it comes to documenting these relationships in order to safeguard them before they are lost. Giuliana will talk about the journey of Fungi Foundation to free itself from the paralysis these issues trigger, and design a way forward to continue living with fungi, in place.
