In my experience, they are surprisingly permissive towards their users. I have had very few complaints while using their service. I hear people complaining about all kinds of things they say Discord is doing, but I have seen or experienced exactly zero of them. The grooming allegations at least seem credible, but all that means is that at least the platform is good enough that pedophiles will show up. You can decide if theirs is a glowing recommendation or not
