I realized that my hands were slipping because they were dry. I wet my hands, & was able to get a grip on the first one. I carefully lifted, & waddled to the stairs & began, one by one to climb. I managed to reach the top, but when I removed one of my hands from the cabinet to turn the doorknob, the shift in weight pulled me off balance. I tried to regain control, but I was no match for gravity, & in a moment, I was jumping down the stairs with one hand pushing back on the cabinet. 3/
