I received the Pi 4B and got the heatsink installed. I will begin by figuring out if it can correctly register the Sony FX3 when I connect it via HDMI to the C790 CSI board. #drone

I purchased another Raspberry Pi 4B 8GB today. Hopefully I receive it all next week so I can get started.

The first test will be only using Pi 4B’s. I’m definitely not going to use the Rock 5B. I’ve found so many potential problems with that SBC from the research I’ve done.

The Pi’s are by far the safest option, because it’s already been confirmed by many online that it works.

I will probably not be using OpenHD, RubyFPV, etc. Instead, I’m going to build a custom solution using `WFB-NG` and `GStreamer`.

At some point in the future, I will upgrade the air computer with a Jetson Orin NX. But will keep the ground unit as a Pi. However, this is only in the future when I’m ready to start working on the AI capabilities like object tracking.
