I think the "does nothing good" point is a real pain because it is often conflation caused by the marketing... where genAI wants to take credit for every tailor made ML victory.

"AI is stealing jobs" I think comes from software devs getting the old conservative jolt of "oh... when it happens to me now it's bad!"

Most of these I can only agree with in terms of scale. It is all the worst things we were already steeped in, but faster. I think we are accruing a lot of "culture debt".
