is there a typesetting system that doesn't suck?
- latex is massive and takes a long time to compile documents
- typst is owned by an llc and comes with a mess of rust dependencies
- groff's documentation sucks and it's hard to use non-default fonts
i just want to write stuff into a text file and then export that to a pdf, is that too much to ask for?
