I'm getting really sick of people telling me to have fun and dance with my whole body only to later tell me to shrink down so I fit in the group better. I'm 5'10" and highly visible on stage. If I shrink too much it looks more awkward than me dancing slightly bigger than everyone else. And I'm so used to being squished, so aware of how little space I'm given to move, I'm usually the one who gets bumped into or worse.

I'm not trying to upstage anyone! I'm just physically bigger, so yeah, people's eyes are drawn to me. I can't help it, so I decided it was better to lean into it and PERFORM. Yet they still try to fit me in a small window. They still ask me to be less visible when that's actually impossible and will result in objectively worse dancing.
