I can’t find the original post that prompted me to have a go at overlay mosaic crochet, but thank you to whoever it was that wrote it.

I made a door mat! I used some Axminster carpet wool (which is super tough 💪) I had left over from a previous project. It took me a while to get my head around creating the patterns on paper, but once I had one it’s a really relaxing thing to crochet.
