A homeowner's tale:
My bathroom started buzzing. I changed a light switch yesterday, and it sounded like it was electrical. So I started trying to determine a source.
It sounded like it was coming from the ceiling, either the fan or the light.
I went up to the attic to see what I could figure out, and found it very strange that there was no sound in the attic at all. Excellent insulation, maybe?
Back to the bathroom. Opened the fan and started disassembling the light fixture. Sound got louder.
