But I do think there's value in continuing to share widely the idea that as an OS maintainer, you *don't* need to please everyone who asks something of you.
It's hard to talk about in short takes because "OS" encompasses such a wide range of projects. How I maintain a tiny open tool is very different from how a project like Django is managed.
