We need to stand with the Indigenous
"Nearly 80% of the planet’s remaining biodiversity exists on land managed by Indigenous communities. There is less deforestation on Indigenous land than in the rest of the world. Using traditional land management practices, such as controlled burns, rotational harvesting and waterway caretaking, Indigenous lands have higher rates of carbon storage and ecological health than government-managed areas."
