The funerary mask of Tutankhamun, one of the most iconic artifacts from ancient Egypt.
The mask is made of solid gold and covers the head and shoulders of the mummified body of the pharaoh who ruled from around 1332-1323 BC. It is inlaid with various semi-precious stones and glass paste, including lapis lazuli for the stripes of the nemes headdress and obsidian for the pupils of the eyes.
