If that becomes (or already is) the official Russian position that means Russia (or rather USSR) claims not only territories of such NATO countries like Estonia or Latvia. But also Kazakhstan or Azerbaijan. Putin ceded some Russian territories to China a decade ago and that act would become illegal too. And that's just territories, there is probably a ton of treaties, laws and contracts that would become brain eating zombies after 30 odd years of eternal slumber. Strange timeline...
