I still have friends and family there.
But I have since learned even my moderate conservative family members are considering moving to Europe. The tariffs have destroyed their business and they are unemployed and lost a house--a house my mother helped them pay for.
I disagree with them on a lot, but they never voted for the guy in office currently. Still the idea they'd leave the US is shocking to me.
