You're the first person than mentioned this custom as the reason for Muslims being trash. Besides, it's more of ethnic custom than a norm among Muslims around the world. Nonetheless, I can't deny that Islam allows for a cousin marriage as it would be disingenuous. Local customs take precedence over this in many Muslim societies.
