nostr messaging sucks as an agent gateway protocol. fragmentation & unreliability are bad but the worst is the lack of affordances beyond text. a decent gateway needs interactive UIs (forms/buttons), ephemeral states (thinking/typing indicators); and custom actions such as stop.
best thing nostr has going on for agents is sovereign identity + settlement.
