1. You don't own what you make
2. You don't control when or how long you work
3. You don't have any creativity or agency
4. You have to adopt a seige mentality against other people
If you can only do art as a response to a mutual aid request you are alienated on axes 2 and 3 right there
If you have to fight fellow artists for a limited number of requests, you get 4 as a bonus!
