When we point and scream "don't obey in advance" at this group or another that is doing fascism we close off the possibility that the person or group WANTS fascism and its benefits.
At any given time 10-20% of citizens in a liberal democracy WANT FASCISM. That's 1 out of 5 people at Target, your school, your work, your place of worship. Obviously, the number varies by location, but seriously.
