Do I remember correctly that you are east coast? Many pomegranate types get heart rot from too much rain. Varieties I know from other growers on the east coast that aren’t so rain sensitive are kazake, Eversweet, kaj-acik-anor, azadi, parfianka, kara bala miursal and sirenevyi.
I don’t actually know anyone growing arakta or fleishman.
