And you are preaching hopelessness and cynicism, offering nothing to take its place. You could encourage more involvement and a move in the right direction. Instead, you presume a lot and concede defeat prematurely without any effort. What YOU are doing is pleasing the apathetic.
Whatever you say you care about & believe in, you are working against it in praxis.
