I had the displeasure of having a high IQ Jew, truly a schizo second to few, approach me in conversation repeatedly at my local cafe during the ascent of the pandemic lockdown and terror who spent most of his time trying to tell me that even though he was completely lost and depressed and sleeping with prostitutes but receiving no pleasure from it (he was financially well off if that needs to be said) and concerned with how things were going to turn out for himself due to the tyranny after having taken one shot but no more...
Eventually he got completely deranged at my disinterest in his constantly quoting Nietzsche and waving The Gay Science around when I told him point blank I wasn't prepared to continue to be his psychiatrist or his life counselor and that he should accept Christ and leave me alone to drink my coffee and read (sometimes).
He spent the better part of the next 18 months quasi stalking me and posting social media bizarro pieces. The kind of situation where I would make sure I was never turning my back on him in public.
