I mostly like the idea and concept of the term "creators". But some days, I really don't.
You see, actual content creators didn't need that term for millennia of content creation, from writing books, to carving statues, to painting, etching, carving, to creating tapestries, to writing poetry, to performing a play, to publishing a newspaper, to reviewing products, to taking photographs... and so on and so on.
Only when people started doing 3 minute vertical videos, wearing bust-enhancing exposed shirts, starting off with "HEY GUYS...." while pimping some butt acne removal cream that "HONESTLY GUYS, this changed my life!!!!" ...
Did people start calling themselves creators.
Kinda reminds me of the term "vegan leather", to describe the plastic, vinyl, fossil fuel laden crap cheaply used to do fake leather on books, clothes, and bags. A pretty wrap.
