I can't stand poverty written by the wealthy. Especially in movies or series, it can be so ridiculous. You can have characters loudly complaining about poverty while consuming the most absurdly elaborate breakfast. Or worse, ignoring that breakfast, or any food, and just walking away.
Last series I had to turn off was because the characters complained about their tragic poverty while playing on the kitchen iPad. Yes, an iPad dedicated to the kitchen, with no cover on it, before they drove off in their brand new Mini Cooper.
