I’m not completely content with the idea that lynching are mob violence. I am certain that there are instances of it. But considering what happens to Black people it’s a very deliberate act to send a message.
I tend not to think of them in the heat of the moment, although they can be.
As for ICE, they are cultivating a culture of barbarity. The very public executions of people where the police claimed they felt threatened, does not hold up to inspection.
