also, I wanna add to the prior toot for anyone who clicks in to read this thread: I'm supportive of people who want to purge all genAI from their lives. I'm not gonna follow that exact path but I'm sure as fuck not gonna condemn anybody who does. what I wish for The Discourse™ and my sanity is that folks in that camp can move beyond "AI bad" into "here is how I'm gonna build/support what I need to accomplish my goal." less perseverative ranting, more donating/developing for NetBSD etc.
