If you can tolerate the interviewee's uptalking (🙄), this is an informative discussion of California's trial of (finally) putting solar panels atop open canals. California and Arizona should be doing this as quickly as they can to reduce evaporation and increase power generation. I've flown extensively over both states at low level and have seen hundreds of miles of canals there.
