At this point I am extremely tempted to try to see if the LCD can be controlled to display whatever and read the buttons. (again, remember my skill does NOT match my desires here) because, being fairily honest, should I be able to do that, at that point I'm getting an humidity sensor and hooking it up to a custom board so I can just display the RH on the display.
Wich, from my perspective, is fucking annoying.
I still don't know how the controls get the cable/power, tho.
